Billing Relief for Travelers Canada Policyholders
To help ease some of the financial burden that many individuals and businesses faced due to COVID-19, Travelers Canada provided billing relief for our policyholders from March 26, 2020 to June 15, 2020. We also launched the Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program.
While the billing relief period has ended, we will continue to work with customers on an individual basis if needed.
If you pay your premiums directly to Travelers Canada, Chieftain Insurance or The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company and wish to discuss specific billing arrangements, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-268-4543. If you pay your premiums to your broker, please contact your broker to discuss your billing arrangements.

A: We suspended cancellation and nonrenewal of coverage due to nonpayment from March 26, 2020 to June 15, 2020. During that time, we did not charge non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees, providing policyholders with extra time if needed to pay their premiums without risking cancellation.
