Billing Relief for Travelers Canada Policyholders

To ease the financial burden that many individuals and businesses are facing due to COVID-19, Travelers Canada is providing billing relief for our policyholders.

Specifically, we have extended the suspension of cancellation and nonrenewal of coverage due to nonpayment through June 15, 2020. We will not charge non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees during this period, providing customers with extra time if needed to pay their premiums without risking cancellation.

We also launched the Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program, which automatically provides a 25% credit on one month’s premium to our personal auto insurance customers.

We are committed to working with our brokers and customers during these challenging times. For those who are able to make payments, we ask that they do so as they normally would. If customers have any questions or wish to discuss alternate arrangements, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-268-4543, if you pay your premiums directly to Travelers Canada, Chieftain Insurance or The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company. If you pay your premiums to your broker, please contact your broker to discuss alternate arrangements.

Now more than ever, we remain committed to taking care of our customers and navigating these challenging times together.
